This healthy habit of staying hydrated helps produce enough saliva that works round the clock to fight off bacteria. 

  • Food and drink choices

Consuming too much onion, garlic, or certain spices can trigger sulphur production in the mouth while leaving a foul breath in the mouth. Further consuming alcohol or coffee can further leave your body dehydrated while ruining oral hygiene.

  • Consume garlic, onion, and caffeinated drinks in limited amounts. These are breath-offensive foods that can trigger bad breath quickly. If you have consumed it in smaller quantities, ensure to chew a mint and brush your teeth before going to bed.
  • We all know you don’t like visiting the dentist for regular sessions. But trust us, it’s going to be all worth it! Ensure to see your dentist for a dental cleaning (every once in six months) for a shiny, white, and healthier mouth.
  • Rinse your mouth effectively with an anti-bacterial and antiseptic mouthwash to get rid of plaque and bad breath.
  • Ensure to clean your tongue every day. The tongue is the easiest target for bacterial build-up. Regularly cleansing your tongue helps prevent bacterial build-up and eliminate bad breath.
