She says that the supplements simply help people to get nutrients that their diet or environment may not suffice. ‘Doctors generally recommend supplements for pregnant women, older adults, those with a restrictive diet, and other groups that have a clear need for additional vitamins. ‘
ALL FOOD CATERING is generally more favorable than the use of vitamins.
Nutritious, whole food products are often healthier and contain more protective substances than additives.
READ THE MAINTENANCE MARK.
As additives are not federally regulated, allegations on the front of a bottle can be misleading. “To get a more accurate picture of your supplemental content, read the label on the back of the bottle,” says Dr. Jain.
Talk to your doctor before taking any add-on. Some additions may negatively react with other medications that you use.
